The faculty & staff of the University of New Mexico College of Nursing welcome you to a tradition of excellence in research, education and clinical practice. We represent the very best in quality & innovation within an academic environment of biobehavioral, environmental and data science oriented research. Our focus is on building robust programs of research, as well as, evidence for effective practice and translating that evidence-based knowledge to practice & policy environments.
We are currently recruiting a senior faculty member with research in the areas of Biobehavioral, Environmental Toxicology, Data Science or Social Science with a strong track record of research, publication and extramural funding, along with a demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research and education.
The incoming faculty will teach and maintain an active program of research and/or scholarship. The combination of teaching and scholarly productivity is a fundamental component of a research University. Responsibilities include research/scholarship, teaching, mentoring and advising students, student oversight, and participation in program activities and committees to ensure stated program goals are achieved.
This position may also participate in service projects with internal and external community partners that share the college's mission. The College welcomes applicants interested in working with stakeholders from multidisciplinary health care and academic areas.
