Position Summary

The University of New Mexico College of Nursing invites exceptional candidates to apply for a faculty position. The primary focus of the position is to teach content in the advanced practice family nurse practitioner concentration. Family Nurse Practitioners and Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include clinical practice, clinical supervision, teaching, and scholarship/service.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National certification as Family or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Graduate degree in nursing
  • Ongoing experience in clinical practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DNP or PhD in Nursing
  • Graduate level teaching or precepting experience
