Position Summary

The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine and Health Sciences Center is actively seeking a candidate that will contribute to the climate of inclusivity. We invite applications to apply for an opening at the open rank level in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This will be a full time position within the Division of General Gynecology. The successful candidate will be involved with clinical teaching and clinical research responsibilities including at off site clinics with potential for transdisciplinary scholarship and research opportunities. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
  • Completion of a qualified residency program in Ob/Gyn
  • Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in NM, Board of Pharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching students and residents
  • Clinical skills and scholarly activity
  • Experience working within a managed care environment
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience or interest in research activity and career development
  • Experience promoting diversity and inclusion in medical workforce
  • Skilled in mentoring under represented/diverse learners
  • Experience leading teams with growth mindset principles
