The Department of Pediatrics at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Health Sciences Center and the UNM Children’s Hospital are recruiting a fourth pediatric pulmonologist to join our Pulmonary Division. We are offering a full-time position ideally suited to the BC/BE pediatric pulmonologist who wishes to practice medicine in a clinical/academic climate with the assistance of a skilled multidisciplinary team in a state with a diverse population. The pulmonary center is a dynamic academic program with clinical, teaching and research activities. The Pediatric Pulmonary Center (PPC) is one of six federally funded Pediatric Pulmonary Centers. We are an accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center, and the UNM Children’s Hospital is the tertiary referral center for New Mexico. Additional programs in asthma, rural outreach, pulmonary tele health, pediatric sleep, chronic ventilation, and bronchoscopy. Opportunities exist for research, community advocacy, education, and expansion of our already thriving clinical programs. Final Rank, salary, and tenure will be based on prior training and experience.
