The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an outstanding individual to join our Abdominal Imaging section. Discover what makes this remarkable academic medical center one of the best places to work in the Southwest!

Clinical responsibilities encompass primary diagnostic and consultative service in Abdominal and Oncologic Imaging (General/Fluoro, CT, MRI, US) for exams performed at multiple locations, but do not include performance of interventional procedures. Section members typically rotate at our NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and participate in face-to-face clinical consultations, tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences. Research opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and image processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publications staff.

Minimum Requirements for this position are as follows:

MD or equivalent

Able to obtain state licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico

Experience in Abdominal or Body Imaging

ABR Board certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date.

Preferred Qualifications are as follows:

· Fellowship in Abdominal or Body Imaging
