|Position Summary||A post doctoral researcher position is available starting on Fall 2018 in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of New Mexico. The focus of the prospective candidate is on the establishment of a test loop facility to study materials degradation in molten lead. The candidate may run experiments to study lead corrosion of advanced alloys and radioisotope retention in molten lead to help support development of Lead-cooled Fast Reactor (LFR). This work is programmatically supported by Department of Energy (DOE).|
