The UNM Copy Center is a service-oriented department that strives for excellence. The Copy Center has an exciting opportunity for a Production Publishing Systems Tech. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills who has the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and work effectively as part of a team. The candidate will also provide prompt and professional customer service to UNM faculty, staff, and external vendors.
The position will be responsible for preparing jobs for production copying on large volume copiers, process bindery and finishing, and will occasionally need to fill in for customer service position at the front desk.
The selected candidate must also possess exceptional computer skills and be able to navigate automated systems. Computer skills will be utilized in relation to advancing technology in our industry.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
· High Volume Copiers
· Freeflow Software, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
· Coil-punch, 3-hole drill, cutters
· Calculating, reviewing, and pricing production jobs
Must possess excellent computer and customer service skills
