|Position Summary|| |
UNM Taos seeks a Veteran to serve as a .75 Program Coordinator for the Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) Program. VUB aims to help veterans transition seamlessly from the military into academic settings, improving their chances of successfully completing postsecondary education. VUB provides individualized attention designed to determine needs, interests and goals to support academic success for eligible veterans. The program is the only one of its kind in the State of New Mexico and welcomes students interested in attending academic programs in other communities. Our new VUB Program Coordinator will be detail orientated, mission driven and able to establish program priorities. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
