Position Summary | The UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Community Behavioral Health (CBH) is seeking a Program Specialistwith program evaluation experience to support the Principal Investigator andthe Program Manager in providing day-to-day oversight, including establishing, leading,and supporting communications with provider agency staff across New Mexico;scheduling and providing evaluation trainings and technical assistance; andfacilitating and coordinating meeting logistics. This position will beresponsible for program implementation and will serve as a key project liaisonwith community agencies and the State of New Mexico to evaluate community-basedprograms across the state. This involves working with various state agenciesand stakeholders to ensure the program is aligned with state goals, addressingcommunity needs, and using data-driven approaches to improve outcomes. Thisposition will assist in developing appropriate responses and strategies forcommunicating with provider agencies when challenges arise around fulfilling evaluationobligations and responsibilities. This role will guide the interpretation ofdata and will conduct preliminary analysis, identify the focus of datapresentations, and dissemination efforts. This position will work with andsupport a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to evaluateshelter programs in New Mexico. While the role involves engaging with communitypartners, it does not involve working directly with patients or individuals.The Program Specialist will focus on data collection, analysis, and qualityimprovement objectives using de-identified data only. This position does notinclude manuscript writing or academic publications.

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | * An advanced degree in a behavioral or public health related field |
