The Division of Translational Informatics, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking to hire a term Programmer Analyst 3. Incumbent will provided specialized, professional level support in areas of advanced complexity such as system analysis and design techniques to produce innovative solutions addressing complex business objectives. Gathers information, defines work requirements and plans and implements projects. Writes, tests, and troubleshoots code of advanced complexity. Serves as the primary technical resource for implementing and maintaining applications. Provides technical leadership on implementation and operational support activities. May supervise or provide functional direction to assigned staff and/or student employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with code verification and reimplementation for the metapath machine learning project.
  • Comparative performance evaluation of other machine learning systems with respect to the currently implemented XGBoost
  • Experience implementing parameters and methods to evaluate the prediction capability of ML methods. This includes cross-validation, transfer learning, conformal prediction and other methods
