| Position Summary | Seeking applicants for a Research Assistant Professor faculty position at the University of New Mexico on an NIH funded grant evaluating personalized medicine approaches for the treatment of alcohol use disorder. The candidate will conduct research using predictive models/machine learning to test for individual differences in treatment effects using data from 11 randomized clinical trials, using the Predicted Individual Treatment Effect (PITE) framework. In this position you will be expected to be the lead author on papers testing for the presence of individual differences in treatment and identifying individuals likely to respond best to a particular intervention.
