Position Summary | Description: The Department of Neurosurgeryruns a variety of clinical research studies that include externally sponsoredstudies, clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, pilot studies,instrumentation studies, drug studies, registries and departmentally mandateddata bases. This position involves a largeamount of paperwork revolving around the Internal Review Board (IRB)applications and renewals, data entry for study databases, and pre-awardapplications. The following details a list ofmany of the roles and responsibilities the successful candidate will work on:
The successful candidatewill be required to cover the pager for 24 hours including being on call on theweekends and holidays, all of which will be shared between the two clinicalresearch coordinators; the research manager may act as a back-up asneeded. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
