|Position Summary||Independently interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates research assignments. Formulates and conducts research on problems of considerable scope and complexity. Explores subject area and defines scope and selection of problems for investigation through conceptually related studies or series of projects of lesser scope.|
|Conditions of Employment|
Master's degree; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Interviewing skills and experience (Case Study Participants)
Designing and implementing randomized control trial studies
Human subject review design and submissions
Knowledge of how the criminal justice system and behavioral health system work at the local, state and national level.
Experience working directly with local units of governments including cities and counties on research design, research implementation, and reporting of research results.
Applied work experience with statistical software packages that could include SPSS, SAS, Stata and R. This could include data entry, data analysis, and data visualization and reporting.
Experience as a Principal Investigator or as a Co-Principal Investigator supervising entry level and lower level staff on multiple projects of varied complexity with time lines.
Experience with human subject review applications.
