Position Summary | The College of Pharmacy (https://hsc.unm.edu/pharmacy/) is seeking a resourceful, dynamic, and experienced individual to join its team. The Student Recruiter is a member of the Office of Student Affairs at the UNM College of Pharmacy and serves as a key liaison between the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy and New Mexico State University (NMSU), supporting outreach, advising, and recruitment efforts related to the Early Assurance Program (EAP) with NMSU. This position serves as the advisor for the pre-pharmacy organization at NMSU, working with student leaders to maintain an active organization that offers meetings, outreach events, and professional development opportunities. This position provides guidance on prerequisite planning, admissions processes, and pathway opportunities into the PharmD program at The College of Pharmacy for NMSU students as well as students across southern New Mexico. The recruiter coordinates with NMSU advisors and support staff to enhance student engagement and cultivate interest in the EAP and PharmD program. Additional responsibilities include attending high school and college recruitment events throughout the region and representing the College at community outreach programs. In this role, the recruiter will collaborate with the Office of Student Affairs to engage students and to develop materials, opportunities, and connections. The recruiter position will have an office on the NMSU campus, allowing for access to students. Travel to regional institutions, the College of Pharmacy in Albuquerque, or other events should be expected at least one week per month, with additional travel during specific recruitment seasons. Participation in College events will be required with evening and weekend work 6-8 times per year. Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |

Additional Requirements | Travel to regional institutions, the College of Pharmacy in Albuquerque, or other events should be expected at least one week per month, with additional travel during specific recruitment seasons. Therefore, finalists are required to have a valid NM driver's license or be able to obtain a NM driver's license within thirty (30 days) of hire. Additionally, participation in College events will be required with evening and weekend work 6-8 times per year. |
