Position Summary

The Division of Enrollment Management, Office of Admissions and Recruitment is searching for a highly motivated professional to join our recruitment team. The qualified individual will focus on new student recruitment, specifically working to support enrollment in online programs, as well as planning and coordinating new student recruitment events and activities. The selected candidate will coordinate various programs and initiatives and assist with a variety of enrollment goals for the Division. This position will be located in the Albuquerque area and may travel and recruit new students in NM and out-of-state, including some evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, professional, and creative team-member that is student focused, has a dynamic personality, strong communication skills and enjoys working with prospective students in large and small group presentations. This position requires a high energy, self-motivated individual capable of working independently and demonstrates sound judgement.

Conditions of Employment
  • Ability to travel by vehicle or air, locally, statewide and/or out of state.
  • A valid driver's license, or ability to obtain a valid driver's license within thirty days of hire, is required for this job.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Priorexperience working as a recruiter at an accredited college or University
Priorexperience planning events
Priorexperience delivering presentations to large and small groups

Additional RequirementsPosition is located in Albuquerque. Regular hours are M-F 8:00am- 5:00pm with occasional travel in-state and out-of-state by vehicle and by airline. Also, some weekend and/or evening events and travel required.
