|Position Summary||TheUniversity of New Mexico School of Law seeks an Assistant Director ofAdmissions/Student Recruitment Specialist for its Office of Admissions. We are seeking an energetic, outgoingindividual to support the Law School’s enrollment and recruitment efforts. This position is responsible for developingand delivering outreach programs and marketing strategies, arranging visits andtours for prospective students, providing law/attorney career and academicadvising to potential students, participating in and/or organizing largespecial events, preparing reports and proposals, creating and distributingrecruitment materials, overseeing staff, visiting high schools and colleges,speaking to groups and individuals, analyzing trends in recruitment programs,evaluating recruiting effectiveness, and participating in and coordinatingstaff, faculty, student, and alumni participation at national and localrecruitment events, among other tasks.|
|Conditions of Employment|
Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
|Preferred Qualifications||- Knowledge of and experience in law school or graduateschool admissions processes.|
- Familiarity with database work: Banner and ACES2.
- Strong writing and speaking skills.
- JD degree is strongly preferred.
