Position SummaryThe Division of EnrollmentManagement, Office of Admissions and Recruitment is searching for a highlymotivated person to join our recruitment team. This position will have responsibility forstudent recruitment of high school, transfer, and online students, and assistwith the campus visit program. Thisposition will travel within New Mexico and out-of-state and serve as a liaisonand representative with internal and external constituencies, agencies, andinstitutions related to those activities to accomplish division enrollmentgoals. Daily activities will includeinteraction with prospective students, public presentations, oral and writtencommunication, problem solving, and the use and maintenance of student databases.

The ideal candidate will be student focusedand have an energetic personality and able to prepare and deliver small andlarge group presentations. The abilityto work independently, complete assignments, and make professional and sounddecisions is essential. There will besome required evening and weekend work at recruitment events and extensivetravel is required to fulfill job duties.

Conditions of Employment
  • Ability to travel by vehicle or air, locally, statewide and/or out of state.
  • A valid driver's license, or ability to obtain a valid driver's license within thirty days of hire, is required for this job.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working at a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Prior experience working with high school students in a higher education environment.
  • Prior experience delivering presentations to large and small groups.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).
