TheUniversity of New Mexico Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) islooking for a Supervisor, Parking Services to lead and inspire ourdedicated team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoysproblem-solving, leading people, and making a meaningful difference on campusevery day.

As partof the Parking and Transportation Operations division, you’ll play a vital rolein delivering exceptional customer service and parking guidance to faculty,staff, students, and visitors.

In thisrole, you’ll:

  • Supervise and support a team of PATS operations staff and students.
  • Lead and coordinate the LoboLift program to ensure efficient and accessible campus services.
  • Develop and manage daily and weekly work schedules and assignment zones
  • Triage incoming calls and deploy staff effectively to meet campus needs.
  • Oversee training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate support for special events.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow PATS Parking Services Supervisors, the Associate Director of Parking and Transportation Operations, and the PATS Management Team to share critical operational insights and drive continuous improvement.

We’relooking for a proactive, team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced,customer-focused environment. This position requires availability for nightshifts from 3:00 p.m. to midnight, with hours subject to change based ondepartmental needs.

Conditions of Employment
  • Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience supervising field staff in a union-based environment.
  • Experience hiring, training, and leading staff.
  • Ability to manage projects and achieve operational goals.
  • Experience developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Professional conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
  • Background in parking and/or transportation operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database platforms.
  • Risk management skills, including identifying and mitigating risks to personnel and clients.
  • Situational awareness in dynamic environments.
  • Sound decision-making under pressure.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing shifting schedules and priorities
