The University of New Mexico-Taos (UNM-Taos), ITServices Department, is seeking a qualified and motivated Systems\Network Analyst 2 to contribute to the learning environmentof a vastly growing network ensuring technology services are always available toall end users. The position will be responsible for configuring, managing andmaintaining data and application servers, network devices, and providing level3 technical support. This position has an on-call responsibility and providesdirect support to the IT Services Manager.


UNM-Taos is located in northern New Mexico andsupports a growing community college environment. We strive to offer a positive learningexperience and make certain we have a robust network to support end users with therequired technology for learning and degree completion. The IT Services Departmentis a vital team to support the institutions technological needs.

  • Specialty licensure/certification may be required, as specified by the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Completion of a college degree in technology field (network, security and computing devices, server systems, multiuser applications) and at least five years of directly related experience.
  2. Exceptional customer service.
  3. Supervisory experience.
  4. Moderately advanced technical skills to support the IT team with network operating systems, Windows 2012 and higher, Unix and MAC.
  5. Experience of network typologies, devices and security including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  6. Knowledge of help-desk software and procedures.
