Position Summary | The UNM-Valencia Campus Upward Bound Program is takingapplications for Teacher, Pre-College Programs. This is a grant-funded on-callposition with current funding available through 08/31/2024. This positionoversees certain day-to-day aspects of the Upward Bound Program including butnot limited to tutoring, leading workshops, teaching, and executing collegepreparation/academic lessons for high school students. Thisperson will assist with tutoring and instructing during the fall and spring.This position provide support either in math, science, language art, or in anyother discipline at any of the three-target area high school (Valencia, Belen,Los Lunas High Schools) including the UNM-Valencia Campus. Practice variouspedological practices to enhance student academic progress as well as gain theskills necessary to transition from high school to higher education. Supportand engage students in college preparatory topics. Document student progress,attendance, and any other type of student tracking task. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
