The Anderson School of Management seeks a Technical Analyst 2 who is an expert at providing a top-tier customer service and support experience to our students, staff, and faculty. This position is responsible for providing guidance and management oversight to front-line support staff; deploying system configurations and providing support for Anderson labs, classrooms, and offices; managing accounts; and coordinating technology projects. The successful candidate will be creative, flexible and enthusiastic about how technology enables and enhances education.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience documented in resume/cover letter:

  • Working at every level of a well-run, leading edge Academic IT Support organization
  • Working with a technology support team as an escalation resource
  • Utilizing Microsoft's Active Directory to manage users, computers and services

Proficient with:

  • Configuring and troubleshooting Windows client computers for a variety of use cases in a complex environment (e.g. lab, kiosk, domain joined, desktop replacement, laptop etc.)
  • Developing end-user and technical documentation that aids in the management of IT services
  • Experience training users on a wide variety of IT-related topics including productivity software, cloud-based solutions, and classroom technologies
  • Troubleshooting computer and A/V hardware problems
