Position SummaryUNM-Taos’ Professional Skills Department invites applicants for Temporary Part Time Faculty positions (Adjunct) to teach lower division courses in Culinary Arts. These positions will be hired on an as needed basis dependent on student enrollment, course offering matrix, and graduation requirements. Potential courses include lower division(100-200 level) courses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An Associates degree and professional experience in the area which they are applying to teach. Applicant must have completed a program of study in the discipline or subfield in which they teach, with coursework at least one level above that of the courses being taught or developed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience in a post-secondary institution, particularly community college experience.
  • Successful experience in practice or field work (if applicable).
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
