UNM Geography and Environmental Studies is seeking candidates for Temporary Part-Time Adjunct Faculty to teach Geography and Environmental Studies such as Introduction to Maps & Geospatial Information during Spring 2018 semester.
Developing lesson plans and other guides required to meet the goal of training and leading students in their field of study.
Developing and implementing evaluation plans to demonstrate learning outcomes.
Assessment of student outcomes for courses and programs.Maintaining statistical records/data of student
Faculty are required to hold two office hours per course per week and may participate in departmental meetings
2. A master's degree or higher in a discipline related to but other than that for which you are applying, and successful completion of of at least 18 graduate credit hours in an accredited program in the discipline or sub-field for which you are applying.
2. Successful teaching experience in post-secondary institution.
3. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
