The Department of Biology is seeking a qualified temporary part-time faculty for the Spring 2020 semester. The person selected for this position will teach BIOL 360: General Botany & Lab. Duties will include all aspects of providing instruction for a lecture & lab course on General Botany as described in the UNM catalog: teaching the topic material; grading assignments, quizzes and tests; preparation of class materials, syllabus, quizzes, and exams; conduct weekly office hours for tutoring and to respond to student questions; and other duties as required. Additionally, coordination of the lab with a TA will be expected. This is a semester-by-semester contract dependent upon budget, available courses and course enrollment.

Master's Degree in Biology or Life Sciences
Teaching experience in Biology/Botany
Knowledge of Botany
