Position Summary | TheDepartment of Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Policy (TEELP) atthe UNM College of Education and Human Sciences is seeking candidates fortemporary, part time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The UNM College of Education and Human Sciences, comprised of fiveacademic departments, is a future-oriented, dynamic professional schoolorganized to reflect the following values: Advocacy, Building ProfessionalIdentities, Collaboration, building strong School/University Partnerships,Diversity & Social Justice, Interdisciplinary Inquiry/Scholarship, andTeaching, Learning and Leadership. Weare recruiting for Part-Time Instructors in the followingareas: Mathematics Education, Science Education, Reading/Literacy/EnglishLanguage Arts, Social Studies Education, Educational Technology, and generaleducation courses. Qualifications | Minimum Qualifications: * Master's Degree in Education or directly related field if applying to teach undergraduate level courses. * Ph.D. or equivalent in doctorate in Education or closely related field Preferred Qualifications: * Potential to teach online or certification or experience in online teaching. * Potential to teach or demonstrated ability to teach at the college level. * A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and studentsuccess, as well as working with broadly diverse communities. |
