|Working Title||Trauma Consultant|
|Position Summary||Under indirect supervision, provides wide range of trauma consultation, including crisis intervention, clinical evaluation, and assessment to individuals and families in acute stages of grief. Develops, facilitates, and mentors groups related to traumatic death, as appropriate. Designs and delivers education programs in grief theory and intervention associated with traumatic death to students and/or to community constituencies. Plans and oversees program initiatives and participates in program development and administration, and/or in research activities, as appropriate. May work in one or more of a variety of settings, such as community outreach, home setting, or hospital environment|
|Conditions of Employment|
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or directly related behavioral health field; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
