The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
This position oversees and administers the daily operations of the CDD’s Early Childhood Learning Network (ECLN) division. Our programs are sponsored by New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH), New Mexico Department of Education (NMPED) and New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD).
The Unit Administrator 2 will directly support the ECLN Director and will oversee all of the administrative support to fulfill the work scope and services delivered by a team of 35 plus staff members working out of satellite offices statewide as well as at the CDD. The candidate will enhance and support the various day-to-day activities of ECLN, as well as the finance and human resources activities. Participates with the division director and internal management in strategic and operational decision making as a member of the division leadership team. This position has supervisory responsibilities of multiple support staff engaged in routine administrative activities.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration and/or human resources AND 2 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
