UNM Gallup is one of four branchcommunity colleges of the University and serves approximately 2,000 students.Located near the Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi Reservations, this campus has one ofthe largest percentage Native American student body of any public universitycampus in the world. UNM Gallup is fully accredited by the Higher LearningCommission, offering Associate degrees and Career Technical certificateprograms, adult basic education (ABE and GED), workforce training, and personalenrichment courses. There are approximately 57 part-time and 54 full-timefaculty members.
The University of NewMexico Gallup Branch, Education, Health & Human Services Division invitesapplications for a Visiting Lecturer II position in Early Childhood Education to begin in Fall 2020semester. This is a temporary faculty appointment which may be renewed for oneor more additional periods up to a maximum of three years subject to the needsof the department. Applicants must be prepared to teach the equivalent offifteen (15) credit hours per semester in their area of education. Facultyduties include development and evaluation of curricula, experience or theability to develop and implement technology in instruction, includinginstruction of on-line courses, maintaining scheduled office hours, attendanceat faculty meetings, participation in campus committees and performance ofother duties consistent with the role of a community college faculty member.
